The Rochester Chapter of ALA provides quality educational programs and an opportunity for individuals to be on the forefront of industry standards, a chance to meet and network with other members of the legal community, and the ability to have access to many resources that answer our questions and make our jobs of managing a law firm or legal department possible. In order to become a member of the Rochester Chapter, individuals must also join and maintain membership in the national organization. To understand membership criteria and obtain an on-line application form for ALA National please click: http://www.alanet.org/membership/join/default.aspx
MEMBERSHIP DUES Your Rochester Chapter membership dues will include monthly chapter meeting and the lunch provided. For more information about joining the Rochester Chapter, contact membership chair Christine Schmitz at cschmitz@hiscockbarclay.com. Please note that our chapter by-laws limit membership to legal administrators and those involved in law firm management, accounting, human resources, and information technology. This includes attorneys and qualifying members of corporate legal departments. Business partners unfortunately cannot be members of the Rochester Chapter of ALA. However, we offer a wide range of sponsorship opportunities for outside companies who wish to become involved with our chapter.
